Working with this mold:

Pour your preferred casting slip and allow adequate set time before releasing carefully to preserve fine detail in the legs and antlers.

• Low-fire: Bisque to cone 06–04, glaze and fire to cone 06–05. Takes well to opaque underglazes, commercial glazes, and hand-painted detail work. Dry-brush or wash techniques bring out beautiful depth in the antlers and hooves.
• Mid-fire: Bisque to cone 06, glaze fire to cone 5–6. Use mid-fire compatible slip and glazes. Stoneware-style finishes give this piece a more naturalistic, earthy look — great for woodland or rustic décor themes.
